Camping Checklist #outdoor #pillow

Camping pillows can either make or break a camping trip. A good pillow can have you sleeping comfortably, while an uncomfortable one can ruin your trip. Today, I want to share with you eight popular camp pillows, both good and bad. I have tested over 32 camp pillows, making me an expert on this subject.

The first four camp pillows are the ones to avoid. The X pillow from climate is considered the worst pillow in existence due to its balloony feel and the X in the middle that creates pressure points. Down pillows, like the one from Therm-a-Rest, may be okay, but they are too expensive and compress over time, losing all the cushion. Compressible pillows, like the one with shredded foam, are comfortable but eventually lead to a kink in the neck due to foam compression. The Airhead from Therm-a-Rest is another bad option, as it feels like a balloon and has no way to attach it to your sleeping pad.

On the other hand, the last four camp pillows are worth buying. The Trekology 2.0 pillow is a great option due to its supportive structure, excellent baffling, and soft material. It also sticks well to your sleeping pad and weighs under 100 grams. The Seat of Summit Premium is a great option for those who need a taller pillow and has a decent height, making it a comfortable option for side sleepers. The Nemo Fillo and the Klymit Pillow X are also great options, offering good height, soft material, and compact design.
