However due to international shipping standards, the ghana ports and harbour authority has been compelled to automate all process to ensure effeciency of cargo clearing activities,fast delivery due to less human contact and subsequently maximize revenue.

EXPORT PROCESS-SEA
(I)MDA E-permit sub-process
Ministries department agencies affiliated to the logistics firm issues export permits after scanning of the commercial invoice

(II)Freight forwarder books space on vessel for container to be available. Invoice is generated and payment is made for freight and local charges.h.jpg

(III)Custom approval to stuff container granted

(IV)Submit declaration process(bill of entry)

(V)Document is being verified and compliance by customs

(VI)Shipping agent instruction on the manner of loading of goods.

(V)TERMINAL PROCESS-Customs inspection and permission to load mk.jpg

(VI)Vessel loading and BL is issued which the consignee at the receiving end would use in clearing the good at the port of destination (P.O.D).df.jpg
