Are VPNs Pointless?
Things I forget to mention in the video:
1: 256bit encryption is industry standard
2: VPNs are useful for bypassing firewalls
3: It doesn't hurt to run VPNs on a network you don't trust even if most connections are already encrypted
4: VPNs slow connection speed
5: Some services block known VPN IPs
Just a quick rant on how VPNs seem to be over marketed and may be pointless if you don't have a particular need for them. Don't get me wrong, they're useful in many circumstances, but don't just get one because your favorite YouTuber was sponsored by a VPN company.

Also, I wanted to give a quick update on the video about Hive by #dcc participants. I've been very busy with some personal stuff lately (though the mostly good kind of busy) but am hopefully going to get back in the groove participating and everybody else is hard at work.
