it's no surprise to anyone that Venezuela is going through a bad time, and thanks to that many Venezuelans emigrate to other countries, taking with them our beautiful dialect.
Today I come to explain some words that you have surely heard and don't know the meaning. Some of these expressions are not used by all Venezuelans and some may even consider them vulgar, so it may seem unpleasant to most Venezuelans.
Note *: words with this sign (*) means a bad word or profanity.
A.
¡A LA MOLLEJA!: Expression generally used in the Zulia area of Venezuela to highlight something out of the ordinary, impressive or huge in size; Like saying "OMG!"
AGARRAO: Selfish person.
AGUANTA CALLAO: Make silence, don't say anything of what you see.
AÑO E LA PERA: It refers to a time that will not exist "I will play with you the año e la pera".
APORREAO: Effect of hitting. It also gives the connotation of being suffering the effects of a joint.
AREPA: Typical food of Venezuelan cuisine.
ARRECHO: Something that is quality, beautiful. It is also a synonym for "angry" "annoying", very used in Venezuela. (Arrechísimo).
AZOTE DE BARRIO: Offender. Thief.
B
BAJARSE DE LA MULA: Unknown origin. It means: give everything you have at the moment. It is used in the context of theft and paying debts: "you have to pay me today, bajate de la mula!"
BALURDO: Something that is out of style or that is very ridiculous.
BECERRO*: insult that usually refers that is not up to the others.
BESTIAL: It is said of something very good.
BIRRA: Beer.
BURDA: I say this word about 500 times a day. Colloquial adjective of quantity, much synonymous.

CACHAPA: 1) Venezuelan typical food, made of corn in the shape of an omelet. 2) Lesbian.
CACHO: infidelity or adultery.
CAÑA: Alcohol.
CARA E CULO: Person who normally or sometimes is annoying or serious.
CARAJITO: Diminutive for minor person, specifically a child or adolescent.
CARAJO: 1) In Venezuela it is a word to express to the person with whom one speaks that one retires of his sight "Vete pal carajo". 2) To name a person: "This Carajo".
CHALEQUEAR: 1) Annoy 2) bullying someone.
CHAMO(A): Child, young friend, unknown person.
CHÉVERE: It means that everything is fine.
D
DAR LA COLA: A ride or a push.
DE CHIRIPA: (chiripa means very small) 1) Luck. 2) Something good that was very close to being bad, for example: "Chamo, I passed the test de chiripa".
DE PINGA: Something very good,,, It refers to the idea of satisfaction.
DESNALGUE*: Unleashing action. Usually at a party with women.

ECHARSE LOS PALOS: drink alcohol drinks. (shots)
ECHAR LOS PERROS: Flirting and conquering a person of the opposite sex (or of the same sex), is said to "echar los perros" because you release all your ideas with great inspiration.
EMBUSTE: Lie, falsehood, deceit. EMBUSTERO: Liar.
ENCUCAO*: Man very in love.

FARANDULERO: 1) Very sociable person who has contact with artists and takes advantage of this to show off. 2) Party-goer.
FACHA: It is said of an inadequate dress, expresses being ill-dressed, for example: "You saw that horrible was dressed, put on the worst facha".
FIRI-FIRI: Someone very thin.
FUMAO: That person who performs unusual acts, usually caused by the use of drugs.
