MY VOCAB PRACTICE

1, Language

My first language is English, it is descended from Latin and old Germanic languages.

2, Bilingual

I work for a bilingual school, teaching History. The languages are Spanish and English.

3, Linguistics

Linguistics is a very interesting study, which I would like to study a masters in.

4, Lingua franca

During the 15-18th centuries, the era of European exploration, Portuguese was the lingua franca, for diplomatic language on the coasts of Africa and Asia.

5, Lingo

The local lingo of the peoples of Quito, also includes words from the Quechwa indeginous language.
