How a College Dropout Invented Ethereum?

Well guys, we all have seen a long list of college dropouts and his/her success like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and many more.

In 2013 a very average looking guy Vitalik Buterin told to his father that he wants to quit his college.. His father Mr. Dmitry Buterin, a computer scientist already knew that Vitalik is very keen to math, programming and economics. Vitalik had learned about bitcoin from his father at the age of 7 only. Keeping all that in mind Mr. Dmitry told to his son just like another father on this earth that "If you will continue your college you can get a good job in Apple, Google or another blue chip MNC companies with a handsome salary. But if you dropout, your life may be very difficult and very challenging but I am sure you can learn out side more than the university."
Then he was attending University of Waterloo. He dropped out in 2014, when he received the Thiel Fellowship in the amount of $100,000 and he travelled to Israel, Amsterdam and San Francisco to write for his 'Bitcoin Magazine' and work on Ethereum.

Vitalik Buterin had learned about bitcoin at the age of 7 from his father as I said above but he became interested about bitcoin in 2011 and before working on the idea of Ehtereum, Buterin was publishing a magazine in 2012 called 'Bitcoin Magazine' with his co-founder Mihai Alisie. After college dropout his real journey to invent Ethereum was started.

A bitcoin enthusiast Anthony Di Iorio created an event on the site Meetup.com just to discuss about bitcoin, it's future and possibilities. It was November 2012. A handful of people gathered at Pauper’s Pub in Toronto. Buterin was also there but it wasn't a quit impressive meeting that day for him. No one noticed him as he was shy, thin and very average looking guy. But Buterin was building a name for himself among the cryptocurrency communities slowly slowly due to his magazine.

Buterin returned after a year in the meeting which Anthony Di Iorio had organised again. He came with a new idea. A billion doller idea. It was about Ethereum. Buterin had noticed the benefits and future of bitcoin. Bitcoin had made is possible to transfer currencies out of border without third part involvement like banks or any financial institutions.

Buterin was in search of a decent name. He choosen the name Ethereum after browsing wikipedia articles about elements and science fiction and released the Ethereum white paper in November that same year. The team consisted of Anthony Di Iorio, Bitcoin Magazine co-founder Mihai Alisie, Amir Chetrit and Charles Hoskinson. The team rented a house in Miami and Amir Chetrit made T-shirts printed black Ethereum on it and they together started working on Ethereum Blockchain. Later Ethereum announced three more co-founders. They were Wood, Joseph Lubin and Jeff Wilcke.
Later as a result of the dispute, the Ethereum network split in two. One is Ethereum (ETH) and another is Ethereum Classic (ETC). Ethereum continued on the forked blockchain and Ethereum Classic continued on the original blockchain.
Etheteum ranks 2nd (1st is Bitcoin) on Coin Market Cap and it's value grew over 13,000 percent till date.
