Vipassana Meditation Courses

Vipassana meditation courses are organised around the world and all over the year.

The courses are usually run at the centres however can be organised at non- centres like schools or churches if a centre is not established in that particular locality.

There are several types if courses but the standard is a 10 day course, which finishes off on the 11th day morning.

There is a 1 day or 3 day courses for old students ( who have completed atleast one 10 day course).

There are other courses for old students which are 20, 30, 45 and 60 day courses. However these can be very intense and there is a eligibility criteria for these.

All the courses are solely run by donation basis. donation basis. All expenses are met by donations from those who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the same opportunity. Neither the teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration. They and those who serve the courses volunteer their time. Thus Vipassana is offered free from commercialisation.
