Great Games That Need A Sequel

1. Shadow of The Colossus

Shadow of the Collosus is an adventure action game published by Sony Computer Entertainment, the game is based around the main protagonist named Wander who enters what is known as the ‘forbidden land’. Wander must travel across a vast expanse on horseback and defeat sixteen massive beings, known simply as colossi, in order to restore the life of a girl named Mono. The game is unusual within the action-adventure genre in that there are no towns or dungeons to explore, no characters with which to interact, and no enemies to defeat other than the colossi. Shadow of the Colossus has been described as a puzzle game, as each colossus’ weakness must be identified and exploited before it can be defeated.

The game is regarded as influential among developers praised for minimalism and focus on gameplay. The game is again critically acclaimed with an average rating equivalent to 9/10 from all major gaming news outlets at the time.

2. Jade Empire

Jade Empire is an action roleplaying game developed by BioWare for Microsoft Studios and released on 26th Feb 2007. The game is based around an orphan under the care of Master Li a trainer at a martial arts school. After something happens to Master Li it is your job to go out and find what happened and save him. The game takes place in fictional inspired China

The game allows you to choose between 7 playable characters at the start of the game each with their own unique and special traits and abilities. Furthermore the game is also famous for its romance in the storyline with players given the option to form a romantic relationship with certain characters in the game.

The game is absolutely brilliant of course if you play it nowadays you may not be very impressed but for what it was for its time it was an absolute masterpiece and if the right team gets behind to create the sequel it will be a fantastic game.
