The best vegan cheese sauce in the world (bakeable, without soy, without yeast melt)

Today i want to share my favorite vegan cheese sauce recipe with you. Its bakeable or a really delicious dip. Especially when used for macaroni and cheese or raclette you will love it. The cheese is without soy and yeast melt and is prepared very quickly.

The yield is for four servings.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g potatoes
  • 60 g carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 250 ml water
  • 60 g cashew nut
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 80 g dairy-free margarine
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/8 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1/8 tablespoons cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut the potatoes, carrots and onions into small pieces.
  2. Cook them until soft in a pot with the water.
  3. Then puree with the remaining ingredients in the blender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper - but be careful with the pepper at first.
  5. Done - enjoy the meal!
