I picked up this lovely little Hallowe'en cupcake by Buttercream Dream, a vegan baking company I love, earlier today ... and I now find myself unable to eat it, as it's far too cute. 😭😭 I'll just have to put it in the freezer and eat it another day. To be fair, the fact that I gave the worm a name (Sir Wormington) and projected a whole little life story and personality onto him is not helping matters.
This truly is the most vegan problem ever – I can't bear to eat anything with a face, even when the face is clearly a fake one! 😂🙈 I'm sure I will get over it at some point and eat the damn cake, but for now, it will remain in my freezer, on display like some kind of museum artefact. 😉
