Introduction
Mysteemitfriends is a website that let steemit users view some important statistics about the or other users on the steem blockchain.
Components
My suggestion is on 4 different sections of the website namely
- Upvote stats section
- Contributors section
- Vote history section
- Conversations section
Proposal
Using mysteemitfriends, I noticed some improvements that can be made. The website shows user statistics at a glance. However, some important things are missing that I wish to propose. Some of the improvements pertaining to the contributors section which shows little statistics about the conversations on steemit. There should be a way to see the total comments made by a user on other people posts. Other proposals can be seen below.
Upvote stats section
The upvote stats section should have comments only as one of the filters option and show the total upvote value for each filter option selected.
Contributors section
The contributors section should include a filter system based on the Article count aside the default contribution amount
Vote history
The vote history section should show each vote value and not only the vote percentage/weight
Conversations section
The current conversation section only loads the conversation between users. I propose that the user total comments and the corresponding receiver username should be shown.
All this will be explained graphically.

Benefits
Mysteemitfriends shows user statistics, but some important features are missing in the site and I have proposed them. The numerous benefits this will have on users includes
Addition of comments only filter option in the upvotes stats section will enable users see the number of comments they have made on certain users blog. The upvote value will enable the users to know how their comments are appreciated, which users upvotes comments, and the types of comments that got appreciated. This will encourage and improve users interaction on the steemit platform because each users will be able to monitor his/her comments on other people posts and how much upvotes they receive which is a huge determining factor in interaction.
The presence of a filter option to view article count in the Contributors section in either ascending or descending order has great benefits to end users. Users will be able to view how other users interact with them based on article count. The default is contribution amount in descending order, but filtering based on article count either in ascending or descending order will let users know how much influence another user has on his/her articles in its numbers. It will enable users to know the loyal fans that visits his/her blog from time to time.
The vote history only shows the vote percentage for now. It will be nice to see the vote value of this percentages at a glance rather than going to other platform to view it one after the other which will be cumbersome and time-consuming.
The conversations does not contain enough information most users will want to see. Implementing my proposal in this section will let users see who they interact with and who interacts with them most at a glance. It will enable users to know who their true friends are on steemit by mere looking at the two tabs I provided in the mockup above.

Implementing these features will not only improve the Mysteemitfriends but also increase its popularity while having a positive impact on the end-user.
