Polemic "Posting Key" Steemit

Many people do not understand how it is actually "steemit password", they think steemit has only one password, or someone knows that the steemit password is of some type, but they assume that all passwords can be made for the transaction.

Okay I will try to explain to my friends who are still new in steemit, that steemit has some password as a condition to enter, including:

  • POSTING
That is the Privacy Key (private Key) contained in your account wallet in the feature permissions in steemit. This private key works in Steem blockchain has a built-in permission system, which gives you the possibility to use private key (Private Key) instead of password, which will give you limited permissions to connect to certain areas of your account without give the master Key (your password).

That is why steemit makes private Key, So, for example, if you want to connect with Dtube or Steemir Steem-based video service you enter with private key instead of Master Key, this is to keep your account safe without giving the master key on anyone.

Private key has limited access rights You will not be able to transfer funds from your account or make changes to your profile and settings. In essence we can only use private key only for posting and upvote from other media connected to your steemit account.

Say like a private key request on a bot account, it aims to create an autovote on the bot, with the private key you have provided you no longer need to upvote certain posts already in the group, the admin will activate your private key on Autoupvote.

  • ACTIVE
Master Key is the personal and secret key password for your steemit account, which you should never use let alone share it with others, if you do not want to lose money in your wallet.

  • OWNER
The "owner" password is the first password sent via e-mail when we register the steemit account, the password must be kept in secret offline, because the password is to malakukan transactions in all fields with anyone. If the password is known by others, then others can be free of charge to our steemit account, ranging from tweaking post to tampering with the contents of our wallets.

Then if one of the key or active key postings has been misused by someone else that may result in damage to our privacy, then we only need to change this master password. By changing the main password, all the other passwords will automatically change automatically, so why do we haruds with our existing post key on someone else, unless we have the intent to corner others or cornering other people's efforts in advancing steemit, let's equally we promote steemit in their own way, without having to discredit and incite others.

  • Memo
The latter also has memos, whose use is to unlock all memos sent by others.

Maybe this is meant by @reggaemuffin, but if my explanation is less about passwords, I apologize because this is my only ability to explain the steemit password, but obviously I think the "post key" password will not affect the contents of our wallets , nor will it be harmful to our steemit account.

Regards Steemit
