Steemit - Community driven social media platform

Project Details

If you're reading this post, you know very well, what Steemit is all about. A platform built on the Steem blockchain, rewarding authors and currators for the content they create and currate. The powerfull system allows a collaborative mind to control which content is valuable and which is not.

An all important part in adoption and increased userbase, is in providing translations for the site, allowing more users to join in, thereby effectively making the community even stronger and the collective mind even brighter.

Source Language

English

Translated Language

All work done is for the danish translation of Steemit.

Number Of Words

2807 in total.

Number of words translated on this contribution: 2807
Since this contribution represents all the work I did over the course of a week, and the fact that I started from 0% done, this contribution must effectively be of the full 2807 words.

Proofread Words

All words have been proof read in this contribution. Having run through all translations 2 times before starting to accept, and agressively using the Crowdin platform's built-in tools to cross-check for consistency on the more platform-specific words (this gets tougher the larger the project is!) all 2807 words are now proof read and accepted.

A little fun fact about the Steemit project, that I noticed. At the moment, the source language is actually one of the languages that has most words (of the completed translations) so I guess it's fair game to state, that english is probably quite an ineffective language :)

Previous translation on the same project

No previous work had been done to provide for the danish translation.

Number of words translated on the project before this report (if any): 0
This being a template, and translators usually not only posting once for every project, most of these paragraphs doesn't really make much sense when the contribution is for the full project :)

Closing statements
It's been immensely interesting to work on this particular translation. It granted me a chance to get around all corners of the platform (more corners, that you ever see as a normal user) and it's been fun to see where the various strings were actually used, to try to encompas how the translation of a string would work in danish.

As always, feel free to drop me a note or two if you like what you see (or if you don't!) and feel free to hit me up on the Utopian Discord for a chat.
