Adding of widget for home, brightness control and strobe features on torch app will be more smarter and easily to used

Components

Torch is a simple flashlight app, that offers its user free and without ads app. But I suggest to open source to add some great features of which I proposed below to its components.

Proposal

I suggest widget for home feature should be on torch app because it serves as shortcut in case of emergency. This would allows the switch button icon appear on home screen of users device for easy operation.

They should also add brightness control to the torch so that users can adjust torch brightness. The should be an option where users tab to increase or reduce it brightness.

Strobe feature needed: Strobe function in a flashlight app is primarily used as defensive measure against threats and secondarily as a light signal. This would allows a user who may be in need of help in the night to call out for help and thereby make it attacker to run away because of the attention the strobe light drawn.

Open source should implement strobe feature on torch app as it is in other flashlight apps so to maintain its users.

Benefits

The availability of this features would be of a great benefit for users as they can reduce or increase the torch brightness thereby helps control battery consumption

Strobe benefit users would benefit from this feature as it would create possible fear into their attacker of the shock of getting exposed to the fast cycling of the light going on and off. The strobe light all contribute to allow for several opportunity to either disable the attacker or make a run for it.

All of these extra flashlight functions are there to increase you chances of survival and improve your effectiveness in various situations where light is used.
Thus, the benefit of widget home feature to users would help to reduced the stress of searching for torch app before its flashlight can be used, and torch will be selected as default application because the 1x1 widget feature will always appear on the home screen if activated.
This is because the higher torch brightness, higher the battery consumption, but with the above mentioned feature, users will be able to control battery usage. And hence the torch app would be the most preferred and easily using flashlight( torch) application if only it would be implemented by the developers.
