DTube is a decentralized streaming video platform linked to Steemit (the decentralized social media) which allows users to upload videos easily and make money (or cryptocurrency) through the upvotes on their post. While going through the app I noticed that the channels I subscribed to do upload videos and I don't get notified.
Proposal
I want to propose that the notification for newly added videos by the channels we are following should be implemented as this makes YouTube a step ahead of this decentralized streaming video platform .

I will be using YouTube interface for an illustration on how the developers should go about the implementation of this notification

Benefits
This is beneficial to users who are following multiple channels on dtube and helps in notifying them of newly added videos by these channels without them going through the platform to search each channel for newly added videos as this could get boring and tiring.
