Components

The current features of the app are the following:

  • A simple app for handling Bluetooth discovery and pairing. This project is open-source. The code is distributed under MIT license.
  • Can send and receive files like images, videos, recording, music, documents and the like.

Proposal

After my exploration, I would like to suggest the following:

  • Add a “sent files” button which has a history of sent out transaction and primary details of the file (e.g. resolution, size, file type, date of transaction/transfer, time of transaction/transfer, receiver name and etc.)
  • Add a “sort” button which has sort by: name, time, file size, file type, date of transaction/transfer, receiver name, and etc. Except for the date and time of transaction/transfer, sorting is already A-Z sorted.

Mockups / Examples

These are the edited photos of my suggestions:

Benefits

Here are the benefits once my proposal for the components/parts/sections of the software will be implemented and solved:

  • With the help of the sent files button, users will be able to see if he/she had successfully sent the files or not.
  • He/she can also identify on “to whom he/she had sent the file” and who else haven’t received it.
  • With the sort button, user will be able to view the files he/she sent according to his/her choice of sorting, whether in time, resolution, size, file type, date of transaction and/or receiver name.

With all my suggestions, I believe this app could be much better.
