Hello everyone welcome to video tutorial my name is funb i'm going to show you how to use a pen
tablet within the blender 3d view port in order to enjoy the best out of sculpting texture painting white painting and the preparation that requires perhaps more freedom than by using a mouse people are getting frustrated because they cannot actually find out how to navigate within the 3d view port first of all you have to go under the file user preferences and enable the emulate 3-button mouse like I have done here by enabling this function you don't actually alter any of your normal Mouse behavior even if you have a three mouse button or not perhaps you have because it's very rare to find someone has a 2 button Mouse but by enabling this we can have orbiting panning and zooming by using alt control and saved in some combinations let me just start by showing you how to orbit all you have to do is just press alt and scrub your pen on the tablet like this in case you want to zoom in you're pressing alt and Ctrl and scrubbing back and forth and as you can see your zooming and the exact location that the pen was initially on some sort of interactive zooming in the same way as you did with the mouse and by pressing Alt + save you can pan on two dimensions like that so alt for orbiting I'll control for zooming and alt shift for panning and trust me is very very versatile and it's very very quick while
we run sculpting right now I can just show you some basic functions such as how you increase or decrease the radius of your brush by pressing f a decrease or increase our radius like that reversing shift f we're increasing or decreasing our strength and just notice that the smaller the radius of this
circle here the higher the amount of strength as you can see here another option just in case you have enabled dynamic topology is the sift D and as you can see here by the detail size safety and smaller the radius the higher the detail size while we are on sculpting and we're discussing keyboard circuits of perhaps you might know some of the shortcuts like d4 dro z4 grab six c4 Crees c4 clay i for inflate and so on but you can also have access on this process by just pressing 1 for blob 2 for breast 3 for clay for for clay strips a 5 for crease fill and deepened by pressing 6 7 8 9 and 0 for layer and you can also access the rest of the brushes by just pressing Shift + 1 + c3 for not you can also create your own brushes are you perhaps already know that another tip is just select under the display option here only render and you can focus on your sculpt instead of all the greed and the rest of the objects in 3d view port and also you can go under saving and to the madcap and that will allow you to have a very nice preview material on your sculpt instead of the default gray and of course you can add your own math caps by just adding more on the folder that contains the math caps I hope this journal was helpful thanks for watching and see you next time with another quick tip for another tutorial bye bye Up next
