Ongoing Logo Contest
The 1UP Logo Contest - Create A New Pixelart Mascot is coming along very nicely! Seven great contributions have already been handed in for the new 1UP logo. You still have time until 21st of December to hand in yours.

1UP Rules
I have thought further about the rules who can use the 1UP button to avoid abuse with socket accounts and circle jerks and came to the following conclusions:
- Only Utopian posts without the @utopian-io upvote will show the button (not on disapproved posts)
- You have to have a reputation of 45+ to see the button
- You can only use the 1UP button once a day
- You can give just one 1UP to the same person once a week
- You can never give yourself a 1UP
- Any abuse will ban the user from the 1UP system
- A number X of 1UPs on a post will trigger the 1UP automatically (the amount is yet to be defined)
The 1UP Ranking
The coolest part about 1UP is that it will create a ranking of daily top contributions. This ranking will be visible to find these quality articles quickly and enjoy and upvote them manually for people you don't follow the trail. We can highlight the winners of the day and present them in a nice way.
For that I will probably want to get a webdesigner to create a cool layout for this. But one step after another. There are still a lot of things to be done and @stoodkev is busy until after Christmas. But time flies by quickly and in January we will probably be able to click the 1UP under a post. I think it is going to be epic!
