How durable is the mirror to freezing temperatures? Also factor in the cost of the mirror vs more solar panels.
Solar panels are great if you want to be self sufficient but last time I checked it would take around 15 years to recover the initial cost of the panels in energy use to pay for the panels. Who knows this could change with the massive increase in costs of everything especially parts of the world that are facing high energy costs.
