The regulator has previously stated that it is “...committed to allow the use of crypto-currencies by its licensees in the immediate future.” Unikrn is unique as it’s a publisher of a major ERC20 token and the creator of a completely custom blockchain platform designed for a highly regulated industry. Unikrn also holds a Malta license for online betting, putting it in a strong position to assist the Malta Gaming Authority in the construction of its sandboxed environment for crypto usage.
Unikrn will also be first in line to launch within the parameters of this environment, which they expect to begin offering crypto esports betting in some markets in Europe by April. This will be following their fiat betting rollout across the same region of Europe, also powered by their MGA-issued license, expected in early 2018.
