Sunk in the Red Sea on October 6th 1941 the SS Thistlegorm is probably one of the most dived wrecks in the world . Along with all of the Munitions for the British Army in Egypt she also carried Stanier F8 Railway locos which were thrown off the deck by the explosion and now rest on the seabed some 30m from the main wreck.
It’s not far but some times not easy to find dependent on the current and Visibility.
It must have been some bank.
