My mom woke up early and was able to see the surprise we had for her. She was very glad since she said she thinks the house looks very plain for a party that she will be hosting. She thanked and kissed us for our little surprise for her.
Then we helped her prepare the food before any guest arrives.
My sister was the one who grilled these chicken barbecue. They are very tasty and every occasion this is one of the food the quests love. I may be able to share the recipe here one day.
This is how it looks afterwards. Yummy looking right?
Then inside the house she cooked some pasta with two kinds of sauce, a white sauce (tuna carbonara) and red sauce (spaghetti).
Our neighbor makes very soft and tasty puto ( steam rice cakes with cheese). I did the arrangement. :D
She then cooked some chopseuy or mixed veggies.
This delicious kare-kare dish is really good paired with bagoong (anchovies)

Also I did not know that she ordered some lumpiang toge, pork chop and dynamite from our neighbor who have this current business. It was delivered to us with their special sauce and vinegar. I arranged them this way.
Also there's buko salad in separate containers.
She also have have a prepared lumpiang shanghai and she fried them to that golden crisp.
But this dessert is a winner, it's gelatin with raisins. I love it, I ate a lot of this in the party.
Then the guest arrived just after she was able to cook all that. Wow she can really get the job done.
She quickly freshened up and joined them. Though she will at times assist the guest.
Some of our nearby relatives came as well.
She ended up with three cakes. :)
Then the party started, they are all laughing, singing, joking and talking. They are very good friend from high school. Now those are real friends.

We then saw them off and took another group photo. Some of her friends have their family along with them too and we made new friends. :)
We then divided the food left and gave them to our neighbors.
After everyone have left since it's already getting late, we tidied up the place and she opened her gifts. She looked like a happy kid opening gifts. haha
We made sure to get a decent photo of her with our decors. :D
A family picture is a must. :)
