Ulog #44: First School Closure (of many to come) Because: Snow

Bwa hahaha I love Nova Scotia!

No where else have I lived in Canada, that you don't go on with your normal life when it snows. Here in NS, a few flakes of snow, and it's "Shut er down b'yes".

I've loved these last 5 winters since we moved here. It's how it should be imo. Yeah, you don't get much done, but there is more to life than work and school, I hate to break it to yas.

People here just get by with a lot less. Our needs and wants are very small and simple as a general rule.

Nova Scotians are extremely down to earth. It's a great way of life here, most shops don't open on Sundays either, another thing I find very cool... #onlylifeimportant

#ChickenBitchez Photo Shoot

Okay, this is just sad right? All hiding under the deck with the scrap metal and other garbage. I promise the next part of the photo shoot will be more dignified than that was.

Some Pretties

IMG_1278.JPG

The truest reason I brought my camera outside...sorry children...sorry chickens, but I loves me Pretties!

IMG_1277.JPG

The flower above is the one I saw, when I was inside looking out my front window. I had to get outside and capture it before some wind knocked off the snow.

I couldn't imagine ripping out my garden in the fall. I love leaving it, and capturing it through all its stages of decomposition. It makes such lovely art.

Does it snow where you live? If yes, does everything shut down? Or is it "Suck it up buttercup and get to work!"
