That friend of mine is a church worker Jennifer Galang (You can ask him why his name is "Jennifer") @labuyo24, a priest equivalent to other religions. We are a member of the church of God and it also has a website https://www.mcgi.org and from there you will learn about many teachings including a daily nonstop community prayers to abide by the what the bible teaches βPray without ceasing,β that is written in I Thessalonians 5:17.
The majority of the members comes from the Philippines but we have localities around the globe including in Latin America where people who are searching for a true religion which is teaching what is the Lord Jesus Christ wants us to obey which boils down to love for our fellowmen.
Now why is this important? It is because if our brethren which numbers in hundreds of thousands will use steemit and the other apps built on top of steem it will spark a network effect in the church because of the number of the church members not to mention their friends and families which will give a push to the value of steem.
So I am excited if my brethren will get into steemit then it will not only help them, their families, and also for the propagation of the word of God among other things that they want to use steem blockchain for. I just hope that @labuyo24 won't lose heart in this platform, he is still a beginner so we just lend him a helping hand.
