Hello steemians! Just wanna share what happened today. It's a little bit late but we still celebrated our School's Nutrition Day. This is a whole day of fun and joyful experience for every student in our school at Pallocan East.
Together with the help of the parents and PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) we prepared exciting nutritious food trip for our pupils. Everyone is invited to join to different food booth and enjoy free to eat meals. The highligjt of this celebration is to teach to our students the importance of having a healthy lifestyle in choosing food to eat. Children are encouraged to eat fruits and vegetables that would keep them healthy in mind and body.
We also had a contest on best dress with nutritious food as theme. Children wore different costumes that represent their unique ideas about proper nutrition. As a teacher, I was very glad because my pupils got the 1st runner up title.
This celebration not only motivate our children to have proper nutrition but boost their confidence as well. That is why yearly celebration of Nutrition Month in every school is being celebrated.
