WALED NU Samalanga

Tgk. H Nuruzzahri Yahya, familiarly called Waled Nu, was born in Mideun Jok village, Samalanga sub-district, Bireuen district in 1951. He was the eldest son of Tgk.H Yahya from his first wife, Sa'diah. From Sa'diah's mother who died in 1959 Waled Nu had two brothers; Tgk.Fakhrurrazi Yahya and Syeh Asnawi Yahya (Alm). From the second mother, Hj Nurjannah, Waled has two younger siblings, namely Tgk. Sheh Baihaqi and Hj. Marhamah (Walidah Tanoh Mirah, wife of Tgk.H.Anwar Nurdin). When he was eight years old, the real mother died and a small Nuruzzahri lived with his siblings with his father.
Tgk.H.Nuruzzahri's father, Tgk. H.Yahya, is a masyarat figure, a religious figure, also a professor and concurrently the committee of Ma'hadal Ulum Ulama Diniyyah Islamiyah Mesjid Raya (MUDI MESRA), in the era of Tgk.H. Abdul Aziz (Abo Aziz Samalanga). Apart from being a religious figure, he is also a successful cultivator of agricultural products.
Tgk.H.Yahya comes from the village Monkeulayu, District Gandapura, Bireuen. In 1937 he left for Samalanga to queue (meudagang) at Dayah MUDI MESRA led by Tgk. Abi (Tgk.H.Hanafiah). After 14 years there he married Sa'diah, a girl village Mideun Jok, the village where MUI Dayah is located. Tgk.H.Yahya is a bloody figure of South Yemeni Arabs. Judging from the posture, he resembles the Middle East and is often called "Tgk.Arab". So also with his children like Waled Nu.
