Typhoon Hato Wrecked Havoc in Hong Kong and Macau

Typhoon Hato is currently wrecking havoc both in Hong Kong and Macau. Both places had raised their highest storm signal as they embraced the strong winds and rains brought by the typhoon.

Classes were suspended, hundred of flights were cancelled, the stock market was shut and the city was brought into a ghost town as Typhoon Hato surged its way westward from Hongkong to Macau.

Severe flooding and high waves were noted during the past hours and strong winds knocked some of the buildings and houses in Hongkong. Recent reports say that three casualties were identified in Macau and the number may still rise once the final statistics and accounting are released by the authorities.
