Westworld Season 2 Review

Westworld continues to be an intriguing and very demanding show to watch. After very violent end of the first season, environment of the theme park filled with android hosts became very inhospitable to humans. The Hosts are finding out what to do are once they've realized that they suddenly have a free will and power to decide their own fate, some of them are angry and only want revenge on humans while the other ones only want their freedom. This is a story of a new type of conscience made by humans trying to escape from the prison they've been made in, in a prison they were mutilated, tortured, killed many times and worse. Anger is to be expected.

Again because the story takes place in many timelines it is hard to connect all the dots without being confused, there is one particular character in the story who is constantly confused just like the rest of us and his name is Bernard. Every scene Bernard is in you will see his confused face and that is why I will rename this show to "Confused Bernard World". Everyone who has seen the show will know what I'm talking about (he actually became a meme).

Westword is no more only a Western themed TV show, in season 2 there are different kinds of environments and themes, including feudal Japan and the Samurai, everything became one big cocktail of different themes and confused robots. I feel at times that only big star power holds this show together, Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris are great, but all the glory goes to Evan Rachel Wood for her role of Dolores, also big congrats to Jeffrey Wright and his many emotions of Bernard, his face perfectly describe the whole of season 2. Score: 8.1/10.
