Band of Brothers is an American Drama miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks that was first broadcasted on HBO. The Series is based on the book by Stephen E. Ambrose and describes the journey of Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division from Training to Bavaria.
Watching this series has become a Christmas tradition in my family after now watching it for the third Christmas in a row. Every time I am astonished by the captivating story that is told. The directors do not shy back from the brutal reality of war and encapsulate many horrific scenes throughout the series. This is by far my favourite Series and I would recommend it to anyone that likes war movies or is interested in History.
