[TV Discovery] Infinity Train

On one of my usual searches of the web, I stumbled across a Cartoon Network pilot for a nifty looking show called Infinity Train. It's Cartoon Network's most viewed pilot on their YouTube channel, and for good reason. It's from former Regular Show writer/storyboard artist Owen Dennis, and feels like a good substitute for Adventure Time and Gravity Falls, In fact, I'd go as far as saying it's a cross between the two, and it's possible the concept is taken from an episode of Adventure Time that deals with pretty much the same concept.

It follows Tulip and her weird little bi-polar computer cube companion as they travel from car to car on the titular Infinity Train, trying to find a way for Tulip to get home. No idea how she got on there and she has the number 53 glowing on her hand, but the show itself has been greenlit for the full series treatment and will be landing on our screens sometime in 2019, so hopefully we'll get some answers.

The pilot does a good job of selling the show, and creates a real air of mystery making you want to know what the Bieber is going on on this train. The story mostly focuses on one car that is home to a kingdom of sentient corgis who are being haunted by a shadow monster.

I highly recommend you check out the pilot episode at the top of the post, it'll make you desperate for 2019 to come around. A little different this time, as the show technically doesn't exist yet and we've still got some time to wait before we get our first full-length episode.

What did you think of the pilot? Looking forward to the show starting? Let me know your thoughts and feelings down below, and I'll see you in the comments. If you're looking for more adult animated shows, why not take a look at my list over on IMDB. Oh, and as a side note, I'm trying to get a new tag started; #tvdiscovery so if you write posts about shows you enjoy and others might too, then add the #tvdiscovery tag to your posts. I'll be keeping an eye on the tag for new content, so expect a helping hand if you do join. Until we meet again, take it easy!
