#1st tuck tuck day - Negombo - Sigiriya

This is a follow up of my previous post: @jordan-tainan/a-short-intro

With @stoodkev and @balourdos95

Today was our first day, a very exciting one!
We started the morning by getting the blessings from a local monk, I feel much safer now!

Most of the teams where British but a few others were not, such as Italians, we actually got kind of the same outfit ^^

During our first stop we got to meet friendly people, they gave us something to eat which looked like wood and tasted like wood, maybe it was just wood and they were pranking us. I guess we will never know. It looked like this.

After a bit more of driving we stopped for lunch and got very lucky. People were again SO nice, we tried a lot of good food.

Then we hit the road again, got to see a few monkeys and meet crazy drivers… for example with a bus overcrossing a bus overcrossing a bus…

But we made it to Sigiriya. A bit late so we went for beers & swimming pool & dinner directly.

From tomorrow we will have less daily drive and more time to meet new people and discover new things. Can’t wait!

All the rewards of the posts will be distributed to the Cool Earth charity.
