BitTorrent Will Be Built Over Tron’s Blockchain
In a strategic decision, the TRON team has announced that after an upgrade of the p2p file-sharing platform known as BitTorrent, users providing content will have a reward in Tron (TRX) to stimulate file-sharing.
The decision of using TRX to back BitTorrent comes after the announcement of Project Atlas, an essential project within Tron’s Roadmap where the blockchain is used as the basis for Bittorrent s architecture. With this innovation, Tron’s team hope to transform the content distribution industry as a step forward in their vision of (decentralizing the web)
