So for this challenge i chose Venom, he is a Symbiote an alien with a gooey almost liquid like form that requires a host, usually human, to bond with for its survival. After bonding the Symbiotes endows its enhanced power upon the host. And as we all know our Super Hero Spidey was its first host. For more information about Symbiotes because this term seems confusing or maybe the first time you experience this work go search it on google do some work haha kidding aside heres a link for you >>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbiote_(comics)

Now that we dont have too much to discuss I can now show you the output of my hardwork. Later as I explain to you the process of my drawing ill also list down the materials that I used, so for now here's Venom!!! ohh for other's who want to know more about Venom you may refer to this link. >>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venom_(comics)

Okay now I'm gonna show you the process so tighten up your seatbelt haha just kidding!

Here are the steps on my drawing...

#1. I used a normal HB pencil to draft the rough sketch of venom not too hard just enough to be visible. Because you may suffer later if you already thicken your pencil draft for instance if you've done something wrong in your drawing like the scale or size of your drawing then suddenly you want to erase and fix you might ruin not just your drawing but you might also destroy your paper.

#2. Now I am starting trace the pencil rough sketch using a 0.5mm gel pen. Sometimes you might notice that when you trace it the pen might not gel or bond greatly while tracing it as I've said earlier if you already draw too fine on your draft it will lead to this. But if you can't control your hard pressing style on pencil you can do the altrnative you can erase it slightly just enough to make your draft visible so then when you trace it the pen will now gel with your draft.

#3. Now I'm starting to detail the part by part body of Venom using this materials.

  • Black Frolic Faber Castell Color Pen ( large spaces black color)
  • Faber Castell Color Pencil Numbers 432 and 419 (for Venom's gums and Tounge)
  • Faber Castell Color Pencil #499 (black) for shadowing
  • Faber Castell 0.5mm gel pen (for small spaces shading details)
  • Faber Castell Color Pencil #401 (white) for the glow effects or something
  • Faber Castell Color Pencil #433 (for slightly discoloring Venom's teeth)
  • Faber Castell Color Pencil #434 (purple) highlighting and Venom's spider mark on his back and arms
  • Permanent Marker (Black) for larger black colors
