The United Nations (UN) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), just reveal a report on access to technology and information in the world, and this report has placed Cuba at position 125 in a total of 166 countries in 2014 and at position 129 a total of 167 countries in 2015.

The reports in question are the "Measuring the Information Society 2014" and "Measuring the Information Society 2015," which shows the levels of access to technology and the use of these technologies by the population in several countries.

This same report showed the Brazil occupies the 65th position in 2014 and 61 in 2015.

To make this measurement is calculated the amount of landlines, cell phones, computers and Internet access per 100 inhabitants.

In the case of direct use of technology takes into account the percentage of people who use the Internet and broadband access facilities.

Cuba's position is shameful. The island is more than 60 years under the dictatorship of the Castro brothers is with internet access rates far below much less developed countries to Cuba.

And despite technological advances in the world and new services offered in Cuba by state company ETECSA, its population still sees far technology and a range of services that nothing corresponds to the demand of the country.
