I travel the world Part 67: The Ritz Madrid

I Travel the

The Ritz Madrid was built by the orders of King Alfonso XIII as a hotel for European royalty. It has hosted several kings, presidents from all over the world in the last 100 years. It opened it's doors in 1910 and was one of the first Spanish buildings to use reinforced concrete and Cesar Ritz had lead this project. (SOURCE)

I wanted to experience something special so I had booked a 3 day package.

Throughout its history, many famous guests have stayed at the hotel, from Ernest Hemingway to Rainier III, Prince of Monaco and his wife Grace Kelly who celebrated their honeymoon in one of its suites.[4][citation needed] Others include Ava Gardner,[13] Michelle Pfeiffer[14] and Madonna.[15][citation needed ] SOURCE

This is an amazing hotel. Once you arrive the staff will take care of everything. We were picked up by a Bentley from the Westin and driven to the Ritz. It feels good to be in good company, Hemingway, Madonna and the Prince of Monaco stood at the same hotel as me...
