Standing with El Capitan

Over the summer I took a trip to Yosemite National Park while I was in California for the Bitcoin 2019 Conference. It's a place I've always wanted to go. When I arrived I felt like a kid in a candy store. Unfortunately I only had one day to explore the massive 1,169 mi² park.
We drove around to see the major sights before going on a short hike. I took this photo standing in front of the breathtaking dawn wall of 'El Capitan'. I looked up and thought of Alex Hannold's epic free-solo trek to the top. It's absolutely unfathomable when you see it in person. It's a 3,000 ft tall granite monolith with a sheer face. How can someone climb such a thing?!
