The famous Bench is faced with ceramic shards. It's funny that these fragments were collected literally everywhere, in the factories of dishes and ceramics. They say that they even simply found broken bottles and glass on the street and brought them here. Abstract art and surrealism by Antoni Gaudi!
Initially, the Market Square was planned for this space, but it did not work out. They put up a bench. Gaudí is said to have seated workers in the fresh clay of the bench to create an ergonomic bench. I don't know, it was uncomfortable for me to sit here ...
And, of course, this bench is a favorite place for photos and selfies.
But these "swallow" nests are located in the free part of Park Guell.
Free - is doesn't mean bad! Looks quite Gaudish!

However, we have already seen enough of such things in the Gaudi Museum in Reus.
As I said, few people wanted to buy a house at this place. Therefore, one of the houses was bought by Gaudi himself and he lived there from 1906 to 1926!

Kostenlos heißt nicht schlecht! Sieht ziemlich gaudisch aus! Wiedererkennbarer Stil! An einigen Stellen kann man kleine Elemente von Gaudís Schöpfungen sehen.
Davon haben wir aber im Gaudi Museum in Reus schon genug gesehen.
