I have already talked a little about Cleopatra's beach. It's time to stop at this iconic and highly promoted place for vacationing glamorous girls in more detail.
Cleopatra Beach is located in the western part of Alanya, on the Mediterranean Sea. Sometimes this beach is confused with the island of Cleopatra (there is nothing historical there, only a beautiful name to attract tourists in the Marmaris region on the Aegean Sea and unusual fire-hazardous sand), but this is completely different.
Cleopatra Beach is approximately 2.5 kilometers long. Mostly it is white-golden fine sand, although there is sand with pebbles, and slabs, and even uncomfortable stones. The Anatolian coast is one large rock plate, so there are some problems with the normal entry into the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, there are very few good sandy beaches, but the water is most often transparent and clean. Therefore, places with sand such as Side, Alanya and Belek are always appreciated.
For example, in Turkler (not so far from Alanya) in some places there was occasionally sand mixed with pebbles, but more often just large pebbles. It was advisable to have shoes for entering the water.
And in the Konakli area (almost a suburb of Alanya), you could normally enter the water only by jumping into the water from the piers, otherwise there was a risk of breaking your legs and skinning your knees, very unpleasant rocks. Although there was also a private beach with sand nearby, it was much nicer. It is not surprising that the beaches with good sand on the Anatolian direction have always attracted tourists.
By the way, if you choose a trip to Alanya, then carefully look at the location of the hotel on the map, now in the era of the Internet it is very simple. It may turn out that the hotel is not at all in Alanya, but 20 kilometers from it in some village, or the hotel does not have its own infrastructure on the beach (a city hotel with a small pool and a minimum of territory) and you will have to pay extra for sun loungers and umbrellas on the city beach, which is about 45 Turkish lira, for this money you will be given 2 sun loungers + an umbrella. Most often, it is enough to place an order in the cafe that owns the sun loungers, but it is better to immediately stipulate this condition. But, of course, no one will prevent you from settling down right on the sand for free, there are free zones, nevertheless, the beach in Alanya is municipal.
The closer to the rock with the Seljuk fortress Ich Kale, the deeper the entry into the sea. The sand here is larger, rather shell rock and pebbles, and not fine sand, there are also dry algae on the sand, the kind is so-so. Away from the cliff in the eastern part of the beach, the sand is finer.
The sea is an element, because the sand is periodically washed away by storms and carried away by the wind, peeping through the stones. But usually new sand is brought in before the season, and the tractors level it and make everything “beautiful”. Cleopatra Beach is a common name, in fact, dozens of beaches are united here. There is a good infrastructure: showers, changing rooms, toilets, cafes.
And now about the unpleasant. Since Cleopatra's beach is very popular among the people, there are a lot of people here, and this leads to another problem. Trash and dirt! Yachts cut across the water area (some of them are made in a chic pirate style, but I will talk about this in other notes). And where there are yachts, there are always drinks, plastic cups, lunch boxes and rubbish. Now the garbage is passed through a shredder, but these small parts are still carried away by the wind into the water. Therefore, in addition to natural drying like algae, floating debris is possible here. Therefore, in the high season in June-August, there will most likely be debris in the water. The sandy beach itself is being cleaned up, it is more or less clean.
There is a webcam on the Cleopatra beach, but the quality is so-so, often the cameras do not work and the view is about nothing.
In fact, Cleopatra Beach Kleopatra Beach (Kizlar Pinari) in Alanya is a good Blue Flag beach. Nice, but not magical! We've been to better beaches. And personally, I like the beach in Side more, I will talk about it later, but another time.

There are many strange statues in the waterfront park. And yet, almost like everywhere else now, you can be suddenly attacked by people on scooters. Be careful!

Über Kleopatras Strand habe ich schon ein wenig gesprochen. Es ist an der Zeit, an diesem ikonischen und hoch beworbenen Ort für den Urlaub glamouröser Mädchen genauer Halt zu machen.
Cleopatra Beach liegt im westlichen Teil von Alanya, am Mittelmeer. Manchmal wird dieser Strand mit der Insel Kleopatra verwechselt (es gibt dort nichts Historisches, nur einen schönen Namen, um Touristen in die Marmaris-Region an der Ägäis anzulocken und ungewöhnlicher feuergefährlicher Sand), aber das ist ganz anders.
Der Kleopatra-Strand ist etwa 2,5 Kilometer lang. Meistens ist es weiß-goldener Feinsand, obwohl es Sand mit Kieselsteinen und Platten und sogar unbequemen Steinen gibt. Die anatolische Küste ist eine große Felsplatte, daher gibt es einige Probleme beim normalen Eintritt in die Gewässer des Mittelmeers, es gibt nur sehr wenige gute Sandstrände, aber das Wasser ist meistens transparent und sauber. Daher werden Orte mit Sand wie Side, Alanya und Belek immer geschätzt.
In Türkler (nicht weit von Alanya) zum Beispiel gab es an einigen Stellen gelegentlich Sand mit Kieselsteinen vermischt, aber häufiger nur große Kieselsteine. Es ist ratsam, Schuhe für das Betreten des Wassers zu haben.

Der Sand hier ist größer, eher Muschel- und Kieselsteine, und kein feiner Sand, es gibt auch trockene Algen auf dem Sand, die Art ist so lala. Abseits der Klippe im östlichen Teil des Strandes ist der Sand feiner.
Das Meer ist ein Element, denn der Sand wird periodisch von Stürmen weggespült und vom Wind weggetragen, die Steine sind sichtbar. Aber meistens wird vor der Saison neuer Sand eingebracht, und die Traktoren ebnen ihn und machen alles „schön“. Cleopatra Beach ist ein gebräuchlicher Name, tatsächlich sind hier Dutzende von Stränden vereint. Es gibt eine gute Infrastruktur: Duschen, Umkleidekabinen, Toiletten, Cafés. Und nun zum Unangenehmen. Da Kleopatras Strand bei den Leuten sehr beliebt ist, sind viele Leute hier, und das führt zu einem anderen Problem. Müll und Dreck! Vergnügungsyachten durchqueren das Wassergebiet (einige von ihnen sind im schicken Piratenstil gebaut, aber ich werde in anderen Anmerkungen darüber sprechen). Und wo Yachten sind, gibt es immer Getränke, Plastikbecher, Brotdosen und Müll. Nun wird der Müll durch einen Schredder geleitet, aber diese Kleinteile werden immer noch vom Wind ins Wasser getragen. Daher ist hier neben der natürlichen Trocknung wie bei Algen auch Schwemmgut möglich. Daher wird es in der Hochsaison im Juni-August höchstwahrscheinlich Schmutz im Wasser geben. Der Sandstrand selbst wird gerade gereinigt, er ist mehr oder weniger sauber. Es gibt eine Webcam am Strand von Kleopatra, aber die Qualität ist so lala, oft funktionieren die Kameras nicht und die Aussicht ist um nichts. Tatsächlich ist Kleopatra Beach Kleopatra Beach (Kizlar Pinari) in Alanya ein guter Strand mit Blauer Flagge. Nett, aber nicht magisch! Wir waren schon an besseren Stränden. Und persönlich gefällt mir der Strand in Side besser, ich werde später darüber sprechen, aber ein anderes Mal.
Und hier am Strand entlang gibt es eine schöne Promenade, näher an der Festung gibt es eine Standseilbahn. Hier können Sie mehr über die Standseilbahn lesen. Ich empfehle eine Seilbahnfahrt den Berg hinauf zur Festung von Alanya zu nehmen. Von hier aus eröffnen sich herrliche Ausblicke auf Alanya und Kleopatras Strand.
Es gibt viele seltsame Statuen im Waterfront Park. Und doch kann man, fast wie überall, plötzlich von Menschen auf Rollern angegriffen werden. Vorsichtig sein!
