Sunday Trip To The Coast

It had been A while since I have last visited the Coast, Sure I went just under two weeks ago but that was more of A short late afternoon visit rather than A day spent there

I decided to head to A Suffolk beach known as Lowestoft. It has been A very long time going back over a decade since I last visited this beach. It was probably most known for the annual aviation air shows they used to do back in the day which would attract thousands but with any good thing they tend to disappear.

I decided to revisit Lowestoft as over the past year I have been visiting almost every beach in Norfolk and have yet to explore any Suffolk coasts and with Lowestoft being the closest to me I decided that was where I wanted to visit.

It sure has changed since my last visit all those years ago the mini pool just before the seafront seems to now have water sprayers that you can walk along and be sprayed but it was turned off during my visit. There once also stood A Wimpy Burger restaurant that also has gone but to my surprise, I did see A Taco Bell! Which was something I didn't expect to see.

As with any town I visit I always end up in Wetherspoons for food and Lowestfoft had one right beside the train station near the seafront so that was my food for the day sorted.

it was A nice trip to the coast overall. There were A few arcades and lots of places for food and the sea did look very nice and with the rock bays they have installed it seems to have made it A little safer to swim in as the waves aren't as strong as when the rock defenses absorb the impact.

Eventually, we left Lowestoft around 6 pm, and with the clocks changing in the early hours of the morning prior to this trip the sun stayed out longer and because of that, we had time to visit A nice big broads area near Lowestoft.
