The Banaue Rice Terraces are 2,000-year-old terraces that were carved into the mountains of Ifugao in the Philippines (Filipino: Hagdan-hagdan Palayan)
They are located about 1500 meters (5,000 Ft.) above the sea level on a 10,360 square kilometers (about 6000 square miles) mountainside.
The people of the province love having fun during the festival of tunggul. During the festival, they drink bayah or rice beer, eat rice cakes, and chew betel nut.

The trek was fairly easy (for those who exercise and do some muscle stretching regularly).
The treak was not that hot because the day before we hike was raining. There's a lot of wild flowers on the way. The water is so cold and will make you feel relaxed.
