Nemberala Beach - Rote Adventure (Part 1)

For those of you who are not familiar with Indonesia, here is a short introduction to this beautiful equatorial archipelago.  Located in South East Asia, directly north of Australia, Indonesia comprises of more than 17.000 islands and is ranks 4th most populous country in the world after China, India and United States of America.  Its Capital is Jakarta.

Today and the next three days I will take you to explore Rote Island, one of the islands in Nusa Tenggara Timur.  To go there we have to fly to Kupang (about 2 hours and 30 minutes flight) and from Kupang we fly to Rote (less than half an hour flight).

There are many boutique hotels along Nemberala Beach.  Since the tourism has not yet developed in this island, there were very few restaurants.  It is better to reserved the hotel including the meals, so we don't have to worry about the food, just enjoy the island.

In our last visit, we stayed all inclusive at Nemberala Beach Resort, very popular among the world surfers
