DIE ANOTHER DAY - By Paul Okuk

In the heat of a sunny afternoon around Urung Uko, the clock had hit 14 o'clock. For 11years, Big Boys Band annually congregate to celebrate their last day in school. It is an evening where each boy showcases the queen whose boat he rocks. Meanwhile, few boys had returned to dust, some have nailed their lives on the altar of matrimony, while others enjoy the pleasure of a rise-n-fall game played off the pitch, scoring into different nets.

19th September 1999, Nenyi went for his queen whom he had expressed generosity on to make her stand out in the pool of queens. He bathed her with fine words; gracing the trip with a popular meat known as 404 in Urung Uko and dog in the wider world.

Their journey was safe. Nenyi had drank quite some bottles and needed to undrink some. As if his sights where blur, he drew closer for a clearer picture. His voice filled the air while he hit the ground. As the boys ran to rescue him, all he heard was die another day. When he recovered, the python had swallowed one of the big boys' son who stood by the Bush to urinate.2017-12-03-17-01-55.jpg
