Science fiction or not so far away future
I was inspired to write this article by the new release of his thriller on 24 April 2018 about artificial intelligence "The tyranny of the butterfly", which I will definitely get in the next few days.
Author: Frank Schätzing, born May 28, 1957 in Cologne, diver, amateur chef, music producer and advertising agent, the Cologne writer has many talents and numerous professions.
Published in 2004, "Der Schwarm" is the writer's sixth and most successful novel. The theme of the science fiction thriller is the existential threat to humanity posed by an unknown, intelligent form of life living in the sea.
By pure coincidence some time ago, the book of Frank Schätzing der Schwarm fell into my hands. At first a little sceptical, because I didn't know the author until then, I started to read the book anyway. Already after the prologue I was captivated and fascinated by the spelling of estimations. His profound descriptions of the actors in this book are simply fantastic. The step-by-step structure of the plot of this book created pure tension in me. I could no longer put the book out of my hand, in two days, only interrupted by some sleep I read through the book of the swarm. His visions of a future, perhaps not so far away, were already very understandable to me.
