What you need to know about Alien Worlds Tokenomics and The Trilium Utility token.

Alien Worlds (AW) is a decentralized community-owned Metaverse where Explorers can play, build together, compete for Trilium (TLM) and collect NFTs. It consists of 6 planets and everything is tokenized within the Federation of Alien Worlds. From the Avatars to the tools, weapons, used by explorers in their daily adventures; even land, minions and artifacts have been tokenized.

Trilium (TLM) is the in-game token of AlienWords, earned through GamePlay. It incentivises explorers to play games and must be staked by users to participate in governance. Planets within the Metaverse are decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) which receive daily Trilium from the Central metaverse smart contracts. Explorers engage through mining, acquiring and renting land, voting for Planetary governance to impact Trilium and NFTs payouts.

The maximum supply of TLM is 5 billion, with inflation at 9% in year 1, then 7.64% in year 2 then decline year after year. Inflation funds the Daily Trilium Allocation to Planets (DTAP), the Daily Trilium Allocation to Satellites (DTAS) and the Daily Trilium Allocation to Land Owners (DTAL), which is allocated approximately 4 times per month.

Trilium (TLM) utilities:

  • Used to acquire NFTs
  • Used to participate in in-game quests
  • Used to Upgrade NFTs ('Shine' actions)
  • Staked to take part in Planet governance activities;
  • Staked by Councillors to participate as a potential candidate in Planet DAOs
  • Used to Create Poll on the AW Fractal Consortium App.

Alien Worlds (AW) runs on WAX, Ethereum & Binance blockchains. On-chain components include The Trilium (TLM) token, AW NFTs, Core Gameplay (mining, missions, actions such as fighting and quests) , DAO governance (staking & voting), and Planets. Off-chain components include Graphics and User interfaces. Transfer of Trilium (TLM) back and forth between WAX & ETH or BSC is done via Teleport functionality.

According to DappRadar, Alien Worlds is the most active game in the blockchain space with +200k unique active wallets interacting daily with AW smart contracts.

Recently, a fractal community (AW Fractal) successfully implemented on Wax Blockchain a version of the EdenOS process where each week, members meet on Zoom, Rank and Reach consensus on-chain on who has subjectively contributed the most to the Alien Worlds for the past week. The weekly event is called the AW Consensus Games.

It use traditional democratic principles with blockchain technologies to provide a resilient platform for leadership selection, decision making and community building that represent the interest of the whole community. All participants are rewarded for their contributions. The AW Fractal community is the first community to experiment fractal governance in the GameFi sector.
