My Book Review In a Poem Format - "Un-Crap Your Life" - By @stellabelle

Few days after I joined Steemit, about 6 weeks ago, I stumbled upon @stellabelle 's blog through one of her posts encouraging people to let go of their fears, live their dreams, lead a life of their choice and embrace the idea of starting their own business if they have a good foundation, resources and the drive to make things happen. Through my comments on her post, I got to know that she's an author and she had written a book and published it in amazon. I ordered the book, received few days ago and read it. I was amazed by how she turned the hardships and tough situations she's been through in her life into a self-help book. But this book, titled: "Un-Crap Your Life, navigating life's crappiest situations", is not a regular self-help book. I've read hundreds of books throughout my life in the area of self-help, but this one stands out. I believe the reason it stands out is that it's based on a true life story.

@stellabelle managed to turn the crappiest situations she's been through into concise, easy to read life lessons with specific solutions with brief exercises and action plans at the end of every chapter. I was engaged with the reading from the first page till the very last one. I wrote the following poem, as my book review, reflecting on some of the lessons I learned from the book. I recommend you all to read this book and do the exercises to get the maximum benefit out of it.

Here's the book's link on amazon, for easy access. If you find yourself in a crap hole and you want to get both the motivation and the know-how to get out of it, and live a life of choice and freedom, get the book and read it. I'm glad I did. Thank you @stellabelle.

With every sunrise, a new hope is born,

Grabbing such a moment, you can cease to mourn,

However hard life might be, you can make it through,

Crappy situations will always come and go,

I thought I was fine, I didn't see the holes,

Until I read that book, it showed me some faults,

Un-crap your life, it's not easy to do,

But the Leah has done it, and so you can too,

I noted few things I'd like to share,

I saw a strong will, disguised in a flare,

Take control of the situation when danger is near,

Don't panic when threatened, but you can show fear,

If you have an addiction, it's not an easy one,

Replace it with affection, your brain craves the fun,

Develop new habits, if you want to quit,

Focusing on resistance won't truly fit,

You can jump off that cliff, if you have a safety net,

Take risks and be cautious, they come as a set,

Listen to your gut, your instinct will tell,

If you don't like someone, don't be thrown in their well,

Use your imagination, it's a powerful tool,

It makes you alive, it makes you rule,

If you get abused by a crappy boss,

Don't stay silent, don't bow your head,

Stand tall with dignity, don't fear the loss,

You'll find another job, you'll get yourself fed,

Work on your finances, have multiple sources,

She wants to have five, She does have resources,

There's much more to learn, just read the book,

I won't say it all, you need to have a look,

I did the exercises, they did make a difference,

I reread the pages, I made them my reference,

Thank you for sharing, your crappy situations,

I learned a lot, I highlighted the solutions.
