The Peace Palace is the seat of the United Nations International Court of Justice, the International Law Library, and the International Law School. Therefore, The Hague is also regarded as the capital of international peace and justice. The Peace Palace was built between 1907 and 1913. This new Renaissance-style gorgeous building was once awarded in the 20th century architectural design competition.
