The Hague: This is the real Dutch "imperial city"

The Netherlands has always been a magical country. It is always refreshing to people's understanding. It is like everyone knows that Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands, but it does not necessarily know that the Dutch government is actually not in Amsterdam, but in another city: The Hague

Among the many political institutions in The Hague, the Binenhof is the most fascinating place. The Parliament Building was built in the 13th century and is a brick-shaped castle building. Since its completion, it has been used as a residence for the Earl of the Netherlands. It was not until the 16th century that it became the parliament building of the Netherlands. The inner courtyard of the Parliament Building was originally the courtyard of the Earl Castle. It is different from the solemn feeling of the parliament building. The inner courtyard feels very idle.

The Moritz Royal Museum of Art is located in a unique 17th-century palace, which was originally the retired residence of the Dutch Governor in Brazil, Yuehan·molici. After the death of Moruizi, the palace was donated to the city government. In 1821 it became the Royal Museum of Art. The museum and the National Museum of the Netherlands and the Vatican Museum are also known as the three major museums in the Netherlands. The museum houses the masterpieces of many artists in the 17th century in the Netherlands, including the works of artists such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Falansihaersi. The famous Dutch oil painting "The Girl with Pearl Earrings" is also collected here. The collection in the museum depicts the life of the Dutch Golden Age and is one of the best places to understand the Dutch Golden Age.

In fact, many people know The Hague because of the International Tribunal. The Peace Palace is the seat of the United Nations International Court of Justice, the International Law Library, and the International Law School. Therefore, The Hague is also regarded as the capital of international peace and justice. The Peace Palace was built between 1907 and 1913. This new Renaissance-style gorgeous building was once awarded in the 20th century architectural design competition.

Everything is so casual and relaxed in Schiveningen Beach. The sea and the sky are painted with pure blue before their eyes. There are also seagulls that stop at the side from time to time to enjoy the sea view.
