Blueberry

Blueberries are flowering plants in the genus Vaccinium, part of Cyanococcus. This species is from North America. There are three groups of blueberries, namely blueberry highbush, blueberry lowbush and blueberry rabbiteye.

A variety of highbush blueberries are exclusively grown in North America. Later, blueberry lowbush grows a lot in the State of Maine. While other varieties can be found in Mediterranean, Europe and Asia. Blueberries are commonly cultivated by Native American tribes.

However, it is now also cultivated in South America, such as Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. Half of the world's blueberries are supplied by the United States, Michigan, Oregon, New Jersey, Maine and North Carolina, where they cultivate blueberries in abundance. image
