Blockchair launches the first user-friendly TON explorer and stable API for developers

Despite all the controversy and the recent SEC lawsuit, Telegram Open Network (TON), the blockchain ecosystem which raised $1.7 billion USD, continues to develop. The project has received a lot of attention due to the potential of reaching Telegram’s 200+ million user base. Alongside with launching the testnet, the first user-friendly block explorer and API for GRAM, TON’s digital currency, has been released. Blockchair is the team behind the launch. The company built the first block explorers for BCH and BSV when they were just forked, and no one really thought it would become a big thing. Blockchair is also known for privacy protection of its users.

TON has already had a basic testnet block explorer while Blockchair went the way forward offering the first user-friendly explorer and API for TON’s testnet data, and later – TON’s mainnet. Blockchair allows to find TON transactions and blocks, plus, there is professional API available for developers to build apps on top of TON.

“Cryptocurrencies scalability problem is a big technical issue which places a limit on its adoption,” comments Yedige Davletgaliyev, Head of research at Blockchair. “The team behind TON proved their skills by creating 2 extremely high-loaded products: VK (the biggest social network in Russia) and Telegram, therefore, we see a bright future for TON. Legal issues are artificial, nothing can stop the technology.”
