The number of users of instant messaging app WhatsApp continue to climb. The latest figures revealed by Facebook in the financial statement quarter IV-2017 shows, the monthly active users WhatsApp has already reached 1.5 billion to 60 billion messages sent every day.
In July 2017, the number of monthly active users WhatsApp is known to still be around 1.3 billion, with 1 billion daily active users. (Read: Monthly Active Users WhatsApp Translucent 1.5 Billion )
With numbers like that, WhatsApp has now become the property of Facebook with the number of users the second largest after the social networks Facebook itself. After following the Messenger which now has 1.3 billion monthly active users.

CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg claims that Instagram and WhatsApp has now become the platform of story-sharing ... first and second sequentially. As many as 300 million people actively using Stories on Instagram every day.
For comparison, Snapchat, the concept of Stories besutannya (photo or short video that aired for a day before being erased automatically) copied Facebook, it only has 178 million daily active users.
Zuckerberg also said that the format of the Stories will be a way of sharing the most popular on social media and pass through ordinary post in the timeline.
