I have been wanting on of these for a long time now. Kind of out of my budget right now but this is this is the best gaming card you can get. I am not an AMD fan, always had problems with their drivers and lack of support for some features.
There was a new nVidia card about to be released but from what I heard it is being pushed out for a year making this card the one to get. Unfortunately it isn't a good choice for mining Ethereum as the miners available haven't been optimized for GDDR5X memory.
The 1080Ti comes with 11GB of ram and can support 4 monitors without any additional cards!
If you are considering running 4K resolution, this card is a must have.
While the Titan X is faster, it is considerably more expensive and mostly used for Machine Learning. Real world performance though the 1080Ti usually comes out ahead.
This card is a beast, but it also comes at a price, just over $800 on Amazon. If that is out of your budget, consider the 1070Ti the next best thing for a little more than half the money.
